Our PM remarked when asked if it had been worth it 'Freedom is always worth fighting for', to which the father of a soldier killed replied 'B*llsh*t!' Every year it is as if we grow a little more stupid and ignorant, but maybe it is me getting older and still being able to remember.

sigh.
yeah.
i remember what i was doing when i learned that the twin towers had been driven into by an airplane. i arrived for a dbt group session. apparently i was a "borderline personality" black and white thinker who needed to learn a little mindfulness acceptance...
or my therapists did. while Bush proclaimed "whoever is not for us is against us"
and my first question was:
why?
was it political?
(i mean... was it an accident? engineering failure? navigation problems? political statement about USA international trade policies? uh...)
m'kay.
the scope of a promise never to forget. 20 years later. indeed.
my promise never to forget was like... closer to 40 years ago.
am i forgiven yet?
