Another 20 years of nothing learned, although good money for the arms industry. Our PM remarked when asked if it had been worth it 'Freedom is always worth fighting for', to which the father of a soldier killed replied 'B*llsh*t!' Every year it is as if we grow a little more stupid and ignorant, but maybe it is me getting older and still being able to remember.
Our PM also said of the Quad (USA, Japan, Australia, India) that it was the dawn of freedom for the Indo Pacific region. So much dawn, so little light.
