I have been on Flomax & Proscar for awhile. They helped some but not enough. I will be having the Holmium Laser Enucleation Of The Prostate done at the Mayo Clinic here in my area. They were the ones recommending it after a prostate biopsy (no cancer found) and a cystostomy. My prostate is enlarged and restricting my urethra going through the prostate. This should open it up. I forgot to ask if it is permanent or if it will grow back. Has anyone had this procedure.
