The article gets a bit complicated.

Basically from what I can deduce, laser surgery offers less complication than traditional surgical procedures but there can still be complications.


If you have BPH (benign), there are medications also that are used instead of surgery (yes, they have their side effects, and there are two types of them which operate completely differently).

Surgery should be something that one gets if possible a second opinion because complications can affect urination and that can be serious.
