Back when I had the ungrounded self-confidence of a budding scientist I used to think that (short of actually cooking your brain) nothing of longer wavelength than UV had any effect on human tissue. Now I'm much less certain. I just heard a researcher rather casually refer to using a magentic pulse to temporarily shut down an area of a subject's brain. I sure hope it was temporary.My mother-in-law says paranoid people see the world as it really is. And just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.
