Hi K,

I'm trying to work out a suitable way of switching from morphine to oxycodone with the amount of morphine you've got left.

Am I right in thinking you were taking 100mg Kadian every 12 hours before you made the switch?

How many Kadian capsules do you have left and how much morphine does each capsule contain?

How many breakthrough doses of morphine do you have? Do they contain 15mg per capsule/tablet? What is their brand name?

Did your doc switch you straight over to 60mg OxyContin three times a day?

Which strength of OxyContin tablets has your new doctor prescribed? eg. 20mg, 40mg etc.

Has your new doc prescribed 5mg oxycodone doses for breakthrough pain? Which brand name has s/he prescribed?

~Ed
