Hi Kerria,

>Then when i tried to switch from the Kadian to the oxycontin- it's only been a month or so since i was taken off the oxycontin- i had a terribly bad migraine - the worst - i couldn't hold anything down for Three days and became so violently sick and dehydrated.

I think there's a simple explanation. Morphine and oxycodone are not interchangeable, you need to gradually increase your oxycodone dose while gradually decreasing your morphine. This way you will avoid the migraine.

>Does timed-released morphine and oxycontin not go?

They can be taken together. You will need to take them together for a couple of weeks while you gradually switch from morphine back to oxycodone. Ask your doc for advice on a suitable way to do this.
