Some more popular DMARDs (disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs) used to treat rheumatoid arthritis.........
leflunomide
sulfasalazine
minocycline........there are many more.
Some DMARDs have alternative uses eg. minocycline is used as an antibiotic and to treat severe acne. Sulfasalazine is used to treat inflammatory bowel disease. Methotrexate is used to treat psoriasis and certain types of cancer.
