Thanks a lot ClearSkies (formerly known as partlycloudy, ROFL),

I think the least amount of sugar in my diet, the better off I'll be. I have no doubt i have candida issues; I have a chronic yeast infection and now with this thrush, it was just more evidence that it's there.

Since I've been on Nystatin, I have noticed some really heavy depression- I think it's attributed to the yeast "die off" from everything I read, it sounds like as the yeast dies off, it releases toxins and your liver starts working overtime which can produce depression.

I just feel like i"m in a serious mental fog. Of course, I have some serious stressors right now as well so who knows which is which.

Thanks for the info. I might go slow on the south beach diet and just slowly incorporate it overtime.
