No sugar/sweets. Reduce or eliminate carbs. Eat small meals (six meals a day), and snacks in between. It's a grazing diet.

No white flour, pasta. The closer something is to being unprocessed, the better. It ends up being a high-protein diet, kind of by default. Fats are okay, so long as they are with proteins. Raw vegetables are okay. Kind of like a Zone diet or South Beach diet. Except you eat small amounts all through the day.
