Racer carrots have a huge amount of fast acting carb in them a natural sugar but my endo said avoid them....good snacks...turkey, chicken, almonds just a few..walnuts, half serving if shedded wheat/BRAN , an apple with a tad of peanut butter on it..makes the carb burn slower, low carb ice cream bars by Klondike..3 grams of carb and 100 calories..is fatty...but yummy ...a special treat...I may have more ideas later,.,you also may want to exercise whenever you want to snack it sounds silly but :) works you either eat less or get fit :P
