I read the articles from your link and thought they were all very good. One point for discussion might be found in John 5:26, where it says, "For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself". Was Christ's death his own choice? He could cause himself to die at whatever point he wanted. And then, he could resurrect himself. Now, whether he had to grow by grace to get to that point, I don't know. The whole point of being God was to willingly come to earth to do all that for each one of us, individually, he experienced the pain each of us would bear, and knew how to support us through it, if we turn to Him.
I also liked the part that said Jesus was the God of the Old Testament.
Anyway, I enjoyed reading the link, thank-you. And also your explanation of the name of Jesus.
> Last names in ancient Israel (& throughout the ancient world) weren't like what we know today... so Jesus would have been known as "Jesus bar Joseph", or Jesus, son of Joseph (Joseph was actually his "step-father").
