You're still here, which tells me God stood beside you and gave you strength to endure. As Teresa said, your parents are suffering from things that happened to them, perhaps up to the 4th generation back. You will be the one to break the cycle for future generations. Narsistic parents don't realize children grow up some day. Can't figure that one out. God's greatest gift to any of us is agency, unfortunately some abuse their gift more than others. I am sorry you have had to endure such a childhood. God knows and cares.
