> I worry a little about people that try to make others follow them in their beliefs, it smacks of an inability to accept others as they are, and judgements, suggesting you are not ok as you are, and also elitism saying that their way is the right way and yours isnt...its a huge world out there and where you are born determines predominantly what religion you choose.. cultural influences, parental directives etc... i think if its good for you do it, you obviously need that direction to help you obtain balance and feel ok about yourself, but that doesnt apply to everyone.. go in peace and leave others to find their own... we all have our paths to tred, and our footprints to make... and to feel loved and respected for who we are...
You can worry on Leslie, but I am fine with who I am. Have you read my post to Tovah? It will save me writing it here again. I do not judge anyone by ANY externals (skin color, faith, where they live, their cultural mores etc)I have spent a pretty fair chunk of my life in cultures other than my native one (which, by the way, is not the USA) and I have learned a great deal about other people and cultures. Nowhere in any of my posts have I EVER said that my way is the right way and others are wrong. (again, read above posts). I expressed an opinion to Dr. Bob based on my reading of posts at this site. That is all. I do love and respect you Leslie. MB
