Let me tell you My story and you decide if its worth it. My daughter was put on Adderall on August 15, 2000 for ADD. On September 28, 2000 she had an anxiety attack at school. When we got to the Emergency Room she started to hallicinate, talking slow, moving slow, and other weird things. They told me they didn't know what was causing her to act the way she was acting. We took her home and the next day we took her to the doctor. The doctor took her off the drug and told us it was a reaction to the Adderall. Four days later we took her back to the doctor because she wouldn't sleep, eat, or drink and she was still talking wierd (out of her head wierd). The doctors put she in the hospital for four days and ran every test imaginable on her. When all was said and done they concluded that she had an "Adderall induced pyschosis". If I can prevent this scary incident from happening to other parents and children I will. This is why I am writing this to let others know about this side effect.
