Not just simplistic -- moralistic.
Well, it's time for "Doctor", Heal Thyself and "Father", Save Thyself. My genes know nothing about morality or "Original Sin" (even tho the Catholic Catechism has rejected it, having read some of his work it sounds like RJN didn't get the memo).
