Hmmmm. I wonder what was copyrighted first? If Weird Al's album was finished up before the book, that would make it especially strange. My guess is the book was made first, and then *perhaps* Weird Al is definitely doing some kind of spoof of the book in a not as yet obvious manner. I suppose one would want to read the book (if it was first), then listen to the album to unravel the psychic mystery...... the results might be more interesting than the curiosities going into the project.
