A few months ago I saw the movie Ghost World (great movie) and there is a reference in there to Weird Al Yankovic. The week before this one, there was an article on Weird Al in the paper. And Sunday, he was a guest voice on The Simpsons!
What does it mean?????
I looked up the article, and it says his last album was Running with Scissors (it went platinum!) His newest album is called Poodle Hat.
The book, "Running with Scissors" is by Augusten Burroughs. This is how it was described in the newsletter from the bookstore:
"When he was adopted by his mother's shrink at age 13, Burroughs's childhood turned into electroshock fun and games, month-long patient sleep-overs, lithium, valium, fake suicides and outrageous moments you won't soon forget"
I'm pretty sure he's not related to William S. Burroughs, but how freaky would that be??
