Another way to set up the voting? Comments?

What if we changed the system slighly. We could have a complete list of all books mentioned set up in Open for voting. We could make a rule that any book selected should have 50 or 75 % of the votes or whatever number seems to work best. When you go to polls in open you can see the results so far and you can change your own vote so that if no book had enough votes you either could change your vote to your favorite among the books with the most votes or you could come back here to try and convince everyone why they should change their choices. This way we should be able to get the book that is most acceptible to the most people. We could lobby here for the books we most wanted in an attempt to change other peoples minds. As each book was selected it would be removed from the list for next month and any new suggestions added to it.
