Niacin has benzo like properties (an ability to modulate the gaba-a receptor). It also has antioxidant properties.
Niacin, like mood stabilizers, may inhibit GSK-3 which can stabilize the sleep wake cycle.
I'm a little leery of megadose vitamin C for long periods of time. Some studies suggest it can be hard on the kidneys. You may want to keep it under a gram, if possible. Just be aware, and perhaps mention it to your doctor - to assess kidney function periodically (just a thought).
Soluble fiber can also be good for cholesterol.
