i smoke alot, i am a big smoker, and all the time i worry about it getting cancer, i smoke about 12 a day, and it helps with my nerves and chaos, but i read this artivle on psychcentral, and also there is TONS of artivles that state that people with schizophrenia are prone to smoke because nicotine takes away, *some* negative parts of it....
yet i don't have schizophrenia, i have schizoeffective, which my doctor said through the psych assestments from the hosptial i stayed at in 2010....but still nicotine help me

does anyone how nicotine works? i do know it does slightly stimulate dopamine, and that's why because i smoke heavily, because the dopamine levels are low, i was ripped off dexedrine, and after that i increased significantly in smoking....
i wished all this stuff wasnt here....i worry about the cough i haave will turn into sickness and cancer, but ciggerttes are my only way to deal with anxiety....the doctor won't give me benzos, and that has caused problems
does anyone know more about this? the nicotine habit?
