ihatedrugs,

Thank you for your post. I appreciate the information and the link.

Yeah, it probably would have made sense for me to keep taking the vitamin D even after it seemed to stop working on my energy, concentration, and hypersomnia, considering that my blood level of the vitamin was found to be low. Probably the biggest reason why I decided to stop taking the vitamin D was that I seemed to notice a slight increase in my psychotic symptoms when I took the vitamin one time when I wasn't taking anything for my psychosis. This last time that I tried taking vitamin D, I was taking Abilify and only noticed a slight increase in my psychotic symptoms for a brief time shortly before the vitamin seemed to lose its effectiveness. So, for the most part, more psychosis didn't seem to be an issue for me, as long as I was taking Abilify with my vitamin D. But I guess I didn't want to take something that might have been worsening my psychotic symptoms if it wasn't producing any obvious benefits.

At any rate, I will consider adding vitamin D back to my supplement regimen, probably within the next few weeks. I've been responding to another supplement that I've been taking for a little more than a month, and I want to give this supplement a little more time to know how I'm going to respond to it in the long run before I say too much about it or try adding anything different. So, I will definitely take what you wrote into consideration, and I might very well go back to taking the vitamin D. I suppose I can always discontinue it again if my psychosis does worsen.

Thanks again for writing.

T.
