Anyone else have this experience? I assume it is related to blood sugar/insulin levels. My glucose tests have always been normal, so I assume it is insulin resistance. The food-related mood swings have gotten worse over time, and I have gained a lot of weight over time, so again I think it's insulin resistance.
Of course, the natural next step is STOP eating all those carbs! I have been telling myself this literally for years. Every day. And every day I somehow find myself eating that cereal, baked potato, bread, muffin, pasta, etc. I feel like a heroin addict trying to stop using while living in a world where heroin is sold in every grocery store, 7-11, etc. At any rate, if anyone has tips, tricks, supplement ideas to help reduce sugar and carb cravings, let me know! Also, my apologies to anyone who has actually battled drug addiction. I'm sort of kidding but sort of not--for years I have tried but failed to cut out refined carbs.
