Vitex tolerance question.

Why does it develop so rapidly? The "dopaminergic" effect is quite nice, if not for that I cannot seem to replicate any effect whatsoever for more than two days. Unusual for a dopamine agonist, no?
Dosing ideas, or ideas on attentuating tolerance to this potentially useful agent?
