I have read that you should not take this amount of cinnamon on a daily basis for a long time, because of some other chemical that builds up in your body. The good stuff in cinnamon is water soluable and the bad stuff is oil soluable.
If you want to take it regularly you should use a water-based extract that concentrates the good stuff in cinnamon and omits the oil-soluable stuff in cinnamon. There are probably several brands, but the one that I have used before is CINNULIN. It is quite a bit more expensive than cinnamon, but still not too expensive. It also has the most amazing smell that you can imagine. It has a smell like cinnamon, but so much better.
You can go to http://www.cinnulinpf.com/scientific.html to read lots more about the science of cinnamon and blood sugar.
