Actually, if you want to try the Binaural beat thing I made a sample 30min MP3. It'll take you from ~10hz (Alpha/awake) down to 1hz (Delta/sleep) w/ a few plateaus along the way to allow your brain to entrain.

I used Audition's Binaural Panner for the encoding and "Mod" music by Necros instead of white/pink noise. I usually use just normal commercial music (Soundtracks by James Horner are favs) but obviously sharing commercial stuff would be a problem. Here's the wikipedia entry for Necros: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Sega - I appended 6 or so of his early 90s tunes that are freely available online.
Hope it helps if you give it a go. Remember to use headphones as it's the panning (you'll hear swooshing at first) that gets your brain to "sync".
