I started taking L-carnitine, quercetin and L-tyrosine today and found I could do things like walking the dogs an extra mile without becoming fatigued and dizzy. I don't feel an kick out of the aminos though, I just noticed that I don't get as tired so easily. I'm interested to see the effect it will have on my sleep tonight. I also have some niacinamide 1000mg and Californian Poppy flower capsules to help with that.
I suppose sleep has a big effect on our mood and energy levels the next day, so working at getting a night of deep, refreshing sleep is a good place to start? Easier said than done of course if you have mood and anxiety problems to begin with.
I agree with Meri-Tulli that tiredness is often psychosomatic. I've noticed this in myself when I'm dreading something or feeling generally jaded with life I'm also very tired. When I'm full of hope and really looking forward to the future there's no stopping me - I hardly sleep at all, but then I'm manic depressive.......
I guess it helps generally to get as much pleasure out of your everyday life as you can, and for that I've found dopamine boosting drugs and supps quite effective.
