Hi Merri

Herbalists all over the place here. Naturopaths and TCM people. I've been seeing them and taking their stuff for 5 years, maybe. Depression though is difficult (I think, anyway).

Do I recall correctly that you did not mind reboxetine? That it made you feel less panicky in a panicky situation?

(I've always assumed I'd not react well to it, having NE overactivity, but that's purely guesswork.)

Do you have an opinion on hyperforin vs hypericin? When I tried SJW I got the sun reaction thing. Too much sun in Australia anyway, and difficult to avoid. I wondered if hyperforin SJW would be less likely to cause the light sensitivity.

I've taken TCM herbs for years for allergies and depression, and they have been better for the allergies than the depression. I'm having some success with tianeptine right now. Better sleep in particular.

If sleep is not an issue and you need a lift, rhodiola would be worth checking out.
