Funny you should mention SJW and 5HTP. About 10 years ago I was waiting a month for a new psychiatrist appointment and I was severe depression. While waiting, I started SJW and 5HTP. In about 2 weeks I felt pretty darn good, to where I didn't think I even needed a doctor any more. But I made the appointment anyway. The doc got mad at me, told me to stop the herbs, and put me on serzone, and I crashed. That began a long 10 years of trying all sorts of meds. Looking back, geez, should have just stayed the course.
I did however have some problems with SJW and 5HTP. The main one was loud tinnitus. Another one was a stinging urine thing. Never did figure that out.
Anyway, since I'm practically off all meds now and on aminos, SJW is again on the radar screen. Thanks for reminding me!
