I think the reason you haven't gotten a direct response to your question is because it's an unknowable response. No one can predict how any one person is going to react on an increased dosage. You have to do the experiment. I have taken SAM-e in dosages of 1200 mg. a day and I didn't have any of the symptoms you described. I didn't have any antidepressant response either though. SAM-e seems to elicit vary different responses in people. I would suggest that if you feel in your gut that you should stop the SAM-e, then do so but if the side effects are not that bad and you know that they may be temporary (and you've already paid out a lot of money to buy the stuff) then it may be worth trying out an increase and seeing what happens. You can always stop it at any time if the side effects get to be too much for you.Kara
