glutamine, tryptophan with picamilon and dmae??

Posted by Jimmy JimJim on November 11, 2004, at 5:22:21

Hey people,
where to start, I've had depression and anxiety issues for most of my life now, when I lookf back on it, and have tried many things for them, some working more than others. Also in the last few years I've developed candida and leaky gut syndrome from long term antibiotic use, both of which are real nasty. They seemed to have magnified several of my mental issues and added other ones such as panic attacks (they fully suck) and many toher terribly weird things, honestly sometimes I didn't kno what to expect everyday. I'm currently getting the candida issues sorted out with a special diet together with medications and herbs which all seem to be working. Some of the things I'm currently taking I think are also helping the axiety and depression, including glutamine (taken in the morning with b vitamins It seems to uplift my mood), tryptophan in the evening b4 bed (really seems to help sleep and relax me.

However, I think that these alone are not enough, especially to quell the social anxiety which I've had for soo long. Also with this candida I have got a severe brain fog which seems to get better with the other candida treatments however I think I need something for that too. So I'm thinking dmae (some have reported success with it in curing brain fog which is candida related) and picamilon (since the glutamine is helping I think that my problems may be gaba related), picamilon is also meant to be quite effective for social anxiety, even tho it is not meant to be strong it might prove to be exactly what I need. So what do people think, any opinions on these supplements or interactions between them?
