But I would like to purchase products from http://www.smi2le.biz/Products.shtml and I was wondering where I might find a scale accurate enough to measure say 10 mg with not too much error. On the super cheap of course.Postal scale. That's your search keywords. Here's an idea: http://stores.ebay.com/JS-DIGITAL-SCALES-POSTAL-SCALE
If you try to get precision scales for any other purpose, you may run afoul of the drug police. They're considered drug paraphernalia, and I wouldn't wanna have bags of mysterious powders around if they came over for a look-see.
Great prices at that site. Thanks. Also, take a look at Beyond a Century: https://www2.acadia.net/cgi-bin/BAC/web_store.cgi
Another alternative, if you're not too concerned about exact doses, is to do volumetric proportioning. Dump all the contents of your bulk purchase into a bowl, and spoon it out, counting number of spoons. Obviously, the more reproducibly you can do the spooning (exactly the same amount each time, and using e.g. an exact measure like a baking teaspoon measure), the better it is. So, say your 100 gram bag of bulk product X works out to 40 teaspoons. Then each teaspoon is 2.5 grams, and you mark that on the container.
