In reply to KaraS, I have a question . . ., posted by sb417 on July 25, 2004, at 1:01:40

I've had several endocrinology evaluations. There are standard workups that endocrinologists do to test for adrenal hypofunction and adrenal hyperfunction. By the way, how is your thyroid now? Do you continue to monitor your thyroid function? If there's any way you can get the money together so that you can be examined by an M.D., I think that would be the best course of action.

> sbThank you. I don't have medical benefits now. It's quite a "Catch 22" situation because I need the job to get the benefits but I need to have the benefits now in order to get well and get the job. My financial situation is getting pretty bad now so I'm hoping that will scare me into being more motivated. Once I get any kind of a job with benefits then I will definitely seek medical attention. It has been a little while since I've had my thryoid levels tested. It feels like they're at the same level but I really do need to have tests done to be sure of that. An endocrinologist and adrenal function tests definitely sound like a good idea as well.
Thanks for your input and concern.
