Yes.

Not for us, apparently. I thought it was because we were being cheap, that we were using generics fairly much exclusively. But I guess I've learned more that we aren't even using generics. I mean, people are doing observational studies of what happens when people don't get generic antibiotics. Or, control trials where people from certain clincis or regions don't get generic antibiotics. The rest of the developed world knows that antibiotics are effective -- which is why they prescribe them. Not just generic ones, but trying to develop other ones, too. We have decided to take the really very low road, indeed, of just observing... Collecting up some samples and sending off the labs and observing...

Needles, ya reckon? I don't know anything about needle production.

Yeah. It's a tough one.
I still don't understand why we (used to have) these habitat for humanity types of things where volunteers would assemble healthy homes for people in developed nations... But it's supposedly impossible for us to house our very own people. Even our rural ones. Perhaps especially our rural ones.
