I have a lot to say on this subject but not the time, inclination or focus/concentration to elaborate on it at this time.
I have been attempting to educate myself on the workings of (how the site is run, the purpose of it all, who is posting and why...) for some time now.Trying not to allow my own baggage to inform me too much.
My conclusion is simply stated by others here. This is not the real world. It is an artificial one with its own artificial constraints, boundaries, considerations of what is considered civil communication, its own definition of civil It is not a democracy. It is a "MENTAL HEALTH community (.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community) Everything I find repugnant about it to my mind after giving it some thought, is extracted from my experiences here. They continue to inform me that this is a "mental health environment with "contrived social norms. It is nothing like the real world. I would be interested in a site dealing with mental health issues that that did not involve any of the aforementioned.

I think this site has its purpose(s) and they are needed by many. I wont elaborate on what I believe at least some of them to be. People come here to fill certain needs. I am no different than others. We all have different needs. I think there is a need for a very different type of site with some explanation in the link above.
I have not written this very coherently but I think it is understandable and I have gotten some of what I intended across.
Please forgive me I have my own problems at the moment ;-)
