By "they" do you mean me, since I wrote the poem? I assume so. Given the circumstances, I don't know how to answer your question, so I'll ask one. Actually, I'm going to ask several. I'm not looking for answers here, rather I'm posting the questions to demonstrate challenging assumptions using a critical thinking process. In each question below, "you" or "your" etc. refers to the reader. It may not be necessary to read and answer all the questions, since the goal is to examine the evidence to satisfaction.

How do you know the poem is about a specific individual versus about an abstract concept?

Even if it were about a specific person, what is the probability that out of six billion people on the earth in so many areas with varying access to the internet, that the one person would be someone on Babble?

And then out of 100's if not 1000's of Babblers, what is the probability that one post would be about you?

Are there any of your behaviors or traits that are in common with those described in the poem?

If so, what is the probability of you being the only person with said behavior or trait?

Have you actually followed me around saying, "F you, F you" before?

I know that someone else believes they know that the poem is about an individual on Babble, and they mentioned "chat" in connection with that. So, assuming the reader is still on the fence, first, have you ever participated in chat?

If so, what is the likelihood or evidence to suggest the author is aware of your participation in chat?

If so, what is the likelihood that out of all the folks who've used chat, the author wrote about you?

If you still believe, if chat is a "clue" to the identity of the supposed subject of the poem, does the poem even reference chat?

If you still believe, are you a being normally referred to as a fairy?

Or is there some other reason that you might be confused with one? Perhaps you've worn a costume once, carry around a wand, wear gauzy, filmy clothes, etc.?

If you still believe, do you believe you live inside my head or in some way are able to project your voice into my head from afar?

That's about all I can think of.

So, what do you believe now, after going through that process?

You see, it really doesn't matter what I answer. I know what I expressed in my poem. I know what it's about. That's my truth. But what you or anyone else believes is your truth. Perhaps your thoughts on this changed a bit after asking yourself the above questions. Perhaps not. The bottom line is that your feelings about my work will stem at least in part from those thoughts. It's my hope that those thoughts then, are informed and rational.

And to quote Forrest Gump, "That's all I have to say about that."
