sometimes a poster needs to make a clean fresh new start. In that case, they should have a little green flag just like everyone else. (they can use their green flag to mark their territory on the admin board: I used to post under a different name)That's what I've done.
p.s. if you welcomed an old poster, that's not so embarrassing-- it's good manners, and is a pleasant surprise. Your welcome is not a burden at all.
