I think you were appropriate in this case, gg. When I was hospitalized I encountered several individuals who only gained some relief from their torturous chronic depression through ECT treatments. While I feel fortunate that I do not need this intervention for my depressive episodes, I can identify with many who opt for it as a safe and effective course. I also feel offended when others criticise Lithium here.
