...I also started using Firefox a few weeks back, and when I got the message, it did let me install *whatever* plug-in(s) (can't recall), and all is well now...never see the yellow box any more.
Wonder why it would act differently for me? Perhaps being a dinosaur and running Windows 98 (QUIT laughing!) has something to do with it....?
