In fact, as I understand the guidelines for this site, Dr Bob specifically REFUSES to offer anything that could be construed as care, beyond administrative actions, on this site. This is a moderated Peer Support system, which means that we -- the people who post here -- are the ones who offer carING and support -- or the alternates to that -- to one another.

People committing crimes often deny their crime even as they continue to commit it. Hsiung has repeatedly published overt and covert opinions that his administrative style serves a therapuetic purpose. He beleives he is teaching people to restructure their converstational style along more healthy parameters when he imposes his personal desires on group members. He has stated as much on several occassions. But there is nothing beyond the sad kissy-face suck-up of his loyal minion/victims to offer evidence of any efficacy of this approach. You probably know the name of at least one person who suicided after participating in this site. He has conducted no study to ascertain that his covert therapuetic practice is not harmful.
I assert that it is very harmful, and likey unbeknownst to him, part of a pattern of promoting psychological instability in a society where remedies are increasingly the franchise of chemical manufacturers, whose pressure on insurers limits the availability of more effective but less profitable therapies that would eventually empower clients to disnefranchise those who exploit them> the only suicide attempts, etc, that I've heard about that can be attributed to something that happened here have happened in response to what another poster has written -- not to anything Dr Bob has done.
Robert Hsiung is singularly responsible for everything that remains on this site. If you know someone who died after posting here as a result of something that happened here, it is his fault and you should report what you know to the State of Illinois medical authorities.

> Again, maybe it's just me, but this sure sounds like a threat to me, or inciting violence.Violence is the proper franchise of the state, and legal action is violent action. If dethrocked as a practitioner, he will likely voluntarily surrender his license and maybe cease to practice medicine, but only under threat of lawful judicial force backed by the power to render as much force as neccessary to enforce the power of the state. I and my allies have not abandoned the state - we still consider it the proper venue for application of lawful force, but we object to those who have hijacked control of the state.
>I recognize that you reference public institutions, but I still feel very, very uncomfortable reading this here.
I feel very very uncomfortable when a cop threatens to draw his weapon. But I can hang out with them at length when I know I'm not their potential target.> And, just as a general statement, if this site is so upsetting to someone -- anyone -- that that person believes it is necessary to pursue legal action against the person who put it up, why invest so much energy into it? Why not find a different environment -- on the web or in real life -- that meets his or her needs better?
It's not about my needs. Robert Hsiung is hurting people who don't realize how badly they are being hurt. He needs to be stopped.
