Actually, I think I did explain once, but I don't mind repeating it.
One of my dearest (probably best) friends lives over in England. I met him through work, though oddly when we worked in the same office we hardly talked. We became good friends when we both began travelling for the company - and after he'd moved.
I was over there when his first child was born, and shortly after the second, and many times before, in between and after both births. When I'm over, I always spend as much time as possible with him, his wife and kids.
The kiddos call me 'Auntie Mel' in that cute voice only a British child has. And when we go out sightseeing or something they always call it a 'Mel adventure.'
So - that's the story of the name. Not because I'm a dried up little old lady. I turned 50 this hear, but I'm anything but dried up....
Now - have you explained yours??
