Well, Dinah, maybe there's something in it? Don't file this under attack---I'm just bringing up the idea. . that instead of suggesting that Bob is at fault, and all the rest of us--wouldn't it be easier on you to. . .extend a little trust?

I think you're falling into a trap I've fallen into many times. . is it okay if I lend a hand, then, or will it get bitten off? The trap is thinking in terms of right and wrong--which sometimes backfires against us. In this case, well, of course you don't want to feel wrong. . .so you are making Bob and everyone else wrong, so you can feel right. It's only normal. I think when we carry it too far though, things like this happen. Think about it--this is the place where people understand feelings! Understand, if you do screw up! Understand, because they've gone through it, just about anything you can think, do or feel.

It's nice to stand up for perceived underdogs. . .but any Right Action exists in a context. It's the context that tell us *how* to do Right Action. Stay an idealist, a person with convictions! But for heaven's sake, keep an ear always open for what your friends and peers are saying. That's a rich source of guidance I know, for me, if I wobble off course.

Be well,
Zo
