I just loved that message!!
I suppose I hope that the people who are on the 2000 board will bear in mind that the rest of us are excluded, and maybe use it accordingly (eg catching up). I hope they will still look at PSB and contribute sometimes too.
But I realise its up to them what they do. I joined last year, but dont think I would be interested in a 2001 board. If I wanted to know how someone was doing, I would say so in the subject of a post to PSB. But open to other people giving their board a try.I do find life a lot more complicated than it seemed when I joined PSB. More people are (explicitly anyway) chatting elsewhere, which I havent got into myself (I know I could, just havent). So I dont know people as well as the regular chatters seem to. Then there are the people who are lurkers, who would have been there before but I didnt realise. And lots of names come and go, which may have been the case all the time but I didnt realise. But it seems like there are more people, often short term.
As well as the 2000 group.I read as many posts, I think, but its a smaller proportion, so I am less in touch.
And over time, there are an increasing number of people who stop posting after messages that sounded pretty desperate, and sar is an exception in us actually knowing what happened. And hopefully not a representative one, but its left unknown if they moved on or gave up. Tho I guess most are likely to still be alive.
Like I say, complicated!
