Lyrica isn't addictive. You don't 'crave' it, even though you may need it. Millions use it for fibromyalgia, unknown muscle pains, pain in general, brain fog, etc etc. You can use it daily, with no cognitive impairment for driving, operating heavy machinery, etc. I have many friends both in the mental health community, and outside (who have physical impairments) who use Lyrica, and get good efficacy with it. It is particularly good for those who can't tolerate antidepressants. (Many of my friends and relatives on it find it has almost no real side-effects...including myself.) Talk to your doctor...here is just one of many controlled randomized trials showing what I said above...maybe bring this to your doctor.
