If Dr. Bob is anything like me, his current Perl programming/scripting skills may not be at the same (peak?) level as they were when he developed this site. I learned useful Python programming skills not long ago, and now most of that is gone!
Moreover, his memory of the technical implementation specifics of the site may no longer be fresh. I've been in the web development business, and I know that I tended to forget things about sites I had written long ago. I also know that implementing a site like this is by no means trivial.
That said, Dr. Bob may not have the cognitive dysfunctions I do.
A site like this is actually an admirable achievement. Perhaps even more so because Dr. Bob is a doctor and not a professional programmer.
