The Ketamine transfusions were $500 per treatment which seemed reasonable given the nature of the procedure. I guess many people will respond to less treatments than I had but you gradually build the dosage up to a place where you get the most effective outcome. I think I started at .5 mg/ kilogram Body weight. It takes an hour and you have a disassociative reaction. It you achieve that then you chance for success is better. I would have continue treatments if I didnt find Another way to improve my depression using DL phenylalanine. I cured myself without Doctors or prescriptive meds although I still take Nardil and Ritalin but when I added DL all my suicidal thinking evaporated. Do any psychiatrists ever try patients on something so benign and inexpensive?
