I feel really badly for you. It does not sound like that person is an expert with meds. I dont know your history but what is your diagnosis and what meds are you on? Stimulants have to be started low and increased slowly. I wish I went to school to become a Psychiatric nurse practitioner ( I am an RN and worked in psychiatry)because in all the years I have dealt with my own depression I now know more about medications and Side effects than many psychiatrists. And many experts are not really that great. I saw a top researcher at Yale and he was clueless.
