Good question.
Not sure how to respond. I once went to the hospital when I was (more or less) at my wits end. I'm not sure if I was 'at risk' so to speak, but I definitely needed closer monitoring.
Hospitalization can be worth it, but (at least here in Candada) they were a bit pressured to get me out. Hence med dosages were ramped up pretty quickly.
Have you tried a lot of meds? Do you have a definite diagnosis? Do you agree with that diagnosis?
