I've never had any kind of discontinuation issues with anti-depressants, which I guess is not that common. I just stopped parnate (after several years), because I had bee feeling so much better for so long and didn't want to be on meds all my life. A coulee of months later, I became depressed and suicidal and landed in the hospital, where they started me again and I was okay wishing a week.
I have also been lucky in that parnate worked very quickly for me, both when I first started it and when I restarted it.
Why can't you get treatment on the NHS?
