Hi, Denise.
> I'm so sorry to hear that your experienced an intense suicidal reaction. How did you get the depression under control again?
The suicidal depression was likely a rebound withdrawal reaction. It resolved over time. Adding Trintellix after a 10 day wash-out probably helped get me past the worst of it. Unfortunately, after 10 days of Trintellix therapy, adverse cognitive effects emerged.
> Are you hoping to replace the Parnate with Trintellix?
The plan was to d/c the Parnate and replace it with one of the following:
1. Trintellix
2. Effexor
3. Nardil> I hope the Trintellix starts to work for you.
Thanks. Because I am starting so low and moving up so gradually, I can expect that it will take 6 weeks to see results. This will frustrate me, but it is the right thing to do given my previous reaction to higher dosages.
We are what we think and feel. Biogenic depression greatly diminishes how we experience life. It is nothing less than an altered state of consciousness. Depression is debilitating, painful, and endless. It makes me feel sub-human.
